Kelli Brandt (M.S.) is a certified Reiki Master and Spiritual Counselor who has been trained to find wholesome ways to release emotional blockages, reduce stress, and work with transition. Kelli approaches her clients with a compassionate heart and nonjudgmental ear.

Kelli believes that “we are all living expressions of our soul’s deepest intention” and her approach is to celebrate your uniqueness, work through your challenges and embrace your purpose. She offers a sacred invitation to pay attention to this life in a deeper, and more meaningful way.

Spiritual Counseling

A counseling session will encourage you to connect to your essential nature as a heart-centered, aware being. 

Using a whole person perspective, Kelli will explore the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional nature of your human experience. Do you have questions you’re wrestling with, or gut feelings you’re trying to avoid? Are you working through generational pain or are your relationships leaving you feeling depleted? Maybe you want to listen to the voice that’s calling you deeper into your purpose of this life. Ultimately, this time will be an opportunity for self-awareness, self-love, and personal growth.

Reiki Healing and Anxiety 

Reiki, a Japanese healing technique is one that celebrates a deep wisdom of the body. “Rei”-meaning universal life and “ki” meaning energy, this approach doesn’t represent any particular belief or practice, and honors the healing capabilities found within all living beings.

Kelli follows the traditions and disciplines of Usui. Mika Usui was the founder of this spiritual practice used as an an alternative therapy for the treatment of a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional ailments. With consistency, Reiki has been shown to have lasting improvements for those experiencing stress and anxiety. Five principles passed down by Usui that promote a loving way of living include; 

  1. For today, I will not worry. 
  2. For today, I will not be angry. 
  3. For today, I will honor my parents, teachers and elders. 
  4. For today, I will do my work honestly. 
  5. For today, I will be kind and show gratitude to every living thing. 

Kelli believes that these healing modalities are a service to humanity. She welcomes you to explore these techniques with her in a safe, and non-judgmental environment. 

What to Expect During a Treatment 

While lying on a treatment table, hands will be placed on the body or just above the body, using light and non-invasive touch. This hands on healing can work through both physical and emotional blockages. Because each experience is unique and in the moment, no two treatments will be the same.  Reiki is safe to combine with other healing modalities. It is helpful if you arrive to your session on an empty stomach or nearly empty stomach if possible. Sessions will be designed to meet you where you’re at on your journey of growth and exploration. Kelli is grateful to be able to offer attunements and teachings with those interested in adopting this spiritual work into their reality. 

 

Kelli’s Background 

Kelli grew up in the midwest surrounded by sisters, brothers, friends, and a large family on Lake Erie. Her heart was nourished by grandmothers, grandfathers, and dreams of what the future held. Her first real questioning came when watching her young brother lose his physical body to a chronic illness. She longed for answers, but found respite in the simple things. Among the hospital trips and surgeries she watched her brother undergo, she often believed it would be the simple things that would bring him to health…playing in the elements, deep belly laughs, and life’s everyday celebrations. She gathers that this is where the first seeds were planted in the search for alternative healing. This experience was an early lesson in both surrender and grace. Intrigued by the human experience and human behavior, Kelli obtained a B.A. in Psychology in her early 20’s. After that adventure, she traveled west to a Navajo Reservation with an art community/social justice group. It were in those moments that deep questioning about reality  began. She moved forward, pursuing a Masters degree in Health Promotion and Education with a deep seated desire to improve diets and health standards for children within the public school system. Life continued to flow! Kelli resided in Salt Lake City, UT in between the midwest and the northwest where she beautifully home-birthed her two children, savored the beauty of the Wasatch mountains, and met a variety of memorable people within the natural health arena. Kelli continued to search for opportunities and education that reflected her own interests and values. Some of these pursuits/certifications include being trained as a doula and certified mediator.

In her spare time, she enjoys precious, everyday moments with her children, experimenting in the kitchen, hiking, singing, dabbling in astrology and watching the seasons change in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
